Hi! It’s almost winter, we’re in the middle of autumn season and seeing the pictures of the last days of summer in Sardegna it takes me to the past dreaming with my feet full of sand, the hair full of saltpeter, my gaze lost in the horizon and happy as a fish in the water. Nature calls to me, bringing me life, I’m from the countryside and find peace when I have lost it there. How is it possible that a girl from the middle of the country so far from the sea has always it in her mind, wishing to come back to it, planning my holidays, trips to go there. My summers were about to spend the whole day at the beach counting waves, looking for the beaches with more waves to learn how to act in the ocean currents, never to fight against nature because then we’re lost, we’re to flow with it we are part of it. I always respected the sea and may be because of it is why I love it. Did you know that the earth is more than 70% water? Respect and care your enviroment just because what you do today will be the result of tomorrow. The sound of the waves crushing, the smell of the sea those are verses to me soul and my mind transform them in poetry. Don’t you have the feeling that when you are in the sea you feel exahusted but it recharge your batteries? Could be magic or just the mother nature which always find the answers in this life.

Sardinia is a beautiful island from the North to the South where its people concive the sea and land as equals, or may be for some of them more water than land. Land of sailors and kind warriors, crystal water and beautiful landscapes. Wherever you go, you will see with your own eyes that words can’t describe it and the camera can’t capture its essence.

Can’t wait to go again to the sea!

With love, Lara
